Provision 13 of Budget Law 85 impels the nation?s auto manufacturers to produce 280,000 light hybrid cars by 2007. So far, the company has produced 7,000 bi-fuel natural gas/gasoline powered vehicles and the plan will soon be extended to all the models with the exception of Peugeot 206.
